What is included in the package?

One purchased package: the full-height turnstile, PLEXA access control, and the PLEXA mobile app. The gate is the physical control point. PLEXA decides who is allowed through and keeps the live site register. The app is how people on site, and the people running the site, use that system. You buy it. You own it.

Do you hire turnstiles?

No. We sell the package. We do not hire or rent gates. The hire market exists — weekly plant for a job that will be given back — and that is a real option some sites take. It is not what we supply. If you want a gate that stays on your asset register, with access control and the app in the same system, request the package.

Question 3

What size is the gate?

The cabinet is 1500 × 2175 mm. The rotor is 1286 mm across, three arms at 120°. Assembled mass is 160 kg. Those are industrial facts for planning a pad, a hoist, and a hoarding line — not a substitute for a site measure.

What power does it need?

Mains is 220 VAC. The drive is 24 V DC and is rated for 100% duty, so the gate is built to run a working site day, not a showroom demo. A licensed electrician should terminate supply on site.

Is passage bi-directional?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The gate is bi-directional. Entry and exit can both be controlled, which is what you want when the site register has to match who is actually inside the fence.

Can I add a face reader?

Yes. An unbranded face reader can sit on the bollard head. It is optional. The package still runs if you use other PLEXA sign-in methods; the reader is there when you want a hands-free check at the cage.

How does PLEXA access control work with the gate?

Accepted Answer

PLEXA is the decision layer. Inductions, identity, and site rules live in PLEXA. When a person is cleared, the gate is allowed to rotate once. When they are not — expired induction, wrong site, not on the job — the rotor does not move. Headcount and who is on site stay in the same system as the rest of the project, including the mobile app. Quote the package here; do not send that request to the software site.

Is this for construction sites?

Yes. Construction is the primary job. Full-height cages stop the duck-under and climb-over that waist-high gates allow. Tied to PLEXA, the entrance becomes the place inductions are actually enforced, not a clipboard by an open panel in the hoarding.

Can it be installed and moved between sites?

The gate is modular. It is designed to be assembled on a prepared pad and, later, taken down and stood up on the next job. That is one reason organisations buy rather than hire: the same cage can follow the work.

What is the mobile app for?

The PLEXA mobile app is part of the package. People on site use it to get through the working day. Managers see the same access picture on the phone that the gate is enforcing at the fence. It is not a separate product you have to stitch on after the hardware lands.

Prices are not published here. Sites differ — lanes, power, whether you already have a rotor, whether you want the face reader. Request a site access package and we will scope it. No rate card, no weekly hire figure, no guess in the chatbot.

Use the form on this site. That is the buyer path for the gate, access control, and app together. PLEXA at plexapro.com is the parent software product — useful if you want to read about the platform — but a quote for this package should not be sent there.

Can I bring my own rotor?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is the exception, not the default. If you already own a full-height cage, we can package PLEXA access control and the mobile app around it so the entrance still runs as one system. Tell us it is a bring-your-own rotor when you request the package. New sites should plan on the full gate in the package.
